The club is also proud to have brought together the local community to organise a St George's day celebration. This has been very successful in the past and we are looking forward to the event this year. It is an action packed day that provides fun for young and old whether you enjoy cricket and bowls or fair park rides it is a day not to be missed.

Entertainment On Saturdays during the season, the club puts on entertainment for the members of the club. This includes live bands, singers and comedians.
Chocolate Tasting Party Friday 13th March 2009. Starts at 6.30pm. Come along and order your chocolates in time for Easter.
Senior Players Registration Tuesday 7th April 2009. Starts at 7.30pm. Subscriptions are needed to be paid on the night. £30 only. Looking forward to seen everybody on the night.
Easter Family Day Sunday 12th April 2009. Bank Holiday Weekend. Family Fun Day! A chance for the whole family to spend time together, having fun, meeting other families and socialising. There are Tombola Stalls, Penalty Shoot Out, Domino Handicap, Pool Handicap, Family Quiz, Ladies vs. Men Football Match, Welly Throw, Raffle and much, much more... Stay late for Pie and Peas supper, entertainment and more fun! Turn Up + Sign Up + Enjoy!
First XIPractise Match Saturday 19th April 2009. Vs. Washington CC. Starts at 13.30, 35 overs will be played on the day weather permitting. The clubhouse will be open selling the finest ales.
St Benedict's Hospice Charity Day In Memory of Frank Laing. Sunday 24th May. Starts with Charity Football Match. Haswell vs. South Hetton. Fun and Entertainment all day in the clubhouse. Everyone Welcome!
Presentation Nights Shortly after the season and finals have finished there is the presentation night. This is when the trophies and awards are presented to the players. A dinner is included and club patrons are in attendance.
End of Season Players Trip A weekend away with the lads at the end of the season. Locations vary and the cost of the trip is split between those that attend. A deposit is required in advance.
Menagerie Club A unique club that has limited spaces and is filled very early on in the season.
